My eyes are gold colour?

is this normal? i never really noticed them before because..you know you get used to yourself and the way you look...but yeah i noticed my eyes are like eagles eye colour....why did i get this colour...............i never seen anyone with this colour..only blue/gray, green and brown...which category do mine fit in

Reply:Yellow is an actual eye color. I%26#039;ve found that mostly people who are albino or get freckles when they tan, are the most likely to have golden eyes. I believe that yellow/gold is a super recessive eye color, that it%26#039;s underneath most eye colors, but you can%26#039;t see it because the pigments are so dark. But remove the pigments and you have gold.

I have a friend who has auburn hair and a more olive toned skin and she has the gold eye color.





It would be considered Hazel or Hazel Gold - the other versions are Hazel-Green and Hazel-Brown (there is no hazel-blue , though newborns who will eventually be brown-eyed sometimes have an unusual eye color that could fit that description).





My husband and daughter have the Hazel-Green and Hazel-Brown eye colors and they are quite pretty.
