i read somewhere to put vaseline on first. this makes it stick. but i dont know if it works. also dont rub your eyes and in the morning when you put it on put lots so it will last even if the top layers come off

Either a foundation or a facial cream can help hold it in place. also, you could try eyecream, rather than eye powder?

Reply:oh insted of using powder i use like eye mouse or u could wear a darker colour to make it stand out more XD
Reply:Use a liquid, mousse, gel, or a stick (like lipstick) type of eyeshadow. You can also put the powder over any of those to help it stay on better. I think pretty much every brand of makeup sells one or more of those.
Reply:yeah I%26#039;ve heard putting vaseline on works, but have never tried it. but obviously dont put too much on because you dont want your eyes to get greasy looking!
Reply:you could use expensive branded eueshadows which stay on for longer. vaseline is a very good base for eyelids as it coditions the lashes and it also add a sparkley shiny effect. you could add foundation or concealer but the real colour of the eyeshadow wont come out. you could also use a dark liner to make the eyes and eyeshadow to stand out.
Reply:MAC eyeshadow base will make it last all day. I don%26#039;t think there%26#039;s anything else out there that compares to it, and supposedly that%26#039;s what the professional makeup artists use.

Reply:Before applying the eyeshadow put a primer or liquid foundation or concealer bascially anything moist then but on the eyeshadow. This way, it makes the shadow stick to something and not fade away. A good primer is Urban Decays Primer Potion. But I would just use liquid foundation or concealer cause its cheaper!
Reply:use a base i found that urban decay primer potion or watever its called works well or sometimes i just use a barry m lip and eyecrayon on my eyelid and it always stays on
Reply:omg, Urban decay potion pot is the best for that! its a primer, you put it on before your eye shadow, so i sticks to your lid! I use to have a lot of trouble with my eye shadow staying on, I tried all sorts of primers and I still got creases in my eye shadow, it would be gone by midday! but when I discovered urban decay potion pot I was so happy as my eye shadow stayed on form the moment I put it on (8.00am) until I took it off (8.00pm).


Its only 拢9.50, and it lasts for ages, when u think u have finished, cut it open in half as there will be loads left in there! I would definitely recommend this product!!!! I don鈥檛 even have to carry around my eye shadow to top it up any more! You can find it in places in Debenhams
